Our Mission
With Film, Art, and Music, we aim to reduce gun violence and raise social awareness. As a non-profit based in Kansas City, our mission is to foster inclusion, peace, unity, & cooperation throughout the KC community. We are facilitating this process through a project called the Kansas City Community Film Project (KCCFP), which involves pairing together local individuals & organizations that represent vastly different demographics & communities creating artistic elements for film production, as well as restoring a true sense of community. We approach all film projects utilizing principals from Asset Based Community Development (ABCD)
The final product of the Kansas City Community Film Project (KCCFP) will be a series of films featuring real members of the KC community & will serve as a testament of our ability to come together as a city. From Kansas City, we then plan to launch this idea globally, targeting each specific city’s conflicts.
